    1.Basic Principle

     

    The core principle is to control the number of capacitor banks connected in parallel to the power grid via automatic switching devices, in order to compensate for the reactive power consumed by inductive loads.

    Overview Of Reactor:

     

    DK series three-phase series reactors are used in reactive power compensation devices for low-voltage power distribution equipment. Because capacitors are affected by harmonic currents, inrush currents, and operating voltages when compensating capacitive reactive power, they are prone to damage and reduced power factor. Therefore, a three-phase series reactor needs to be installed at the front end of the capacitor to suppress and absorb harmonics, protect the capacitor, avoid the effects of harmonic voltage and current and inrush current, and extend the capacitor's service life.
