SVG Static Var Generator
1.Basic Principle
The static var generator is connected in parallel with the power grid. It uses an external current transformer (CT) to detect the load current in real time and uses a DSP to calculate and extract the reactive component of the load. It then uses PWM converter technology to control the IGBT, which inverts the internal converter to generate a reactive current that meets the load requirements, thereby achieving the purpose of reactive power compensation.
