APF Active Power Filter
1.Basic Principle
The active power filter is connected in parallel with the power grid. The load current is detected in real time by an external current transformer (CT), and the harmonic components of the load are extracted by DSP calculation. Using PWM converter technology, the IGBT is controlled to invert a current equal in magnitude and opposite in direction to the load harmonic current and inject it into the power grid, thereby achieving the function of filtering out harmonics.
